Edwards to call it a day —
Colin Edwards has announced that he is to bring an end to his 22-year motorbike racing career at the end of 2014.

The pinnacle of Edwards' career came in both 2000 and 2002 when he landed the World Superbike Championship.

"I want to spend more time with my wife and my children and of course I want to say thanks to Yamaha and everyone who has helped me in my career," Edwards said.
